UPSC has shared the official notice for the NDA 2 Exam 2025 on 28 May 2025. This time, they’ve made some technical updates in the way you apply. There’s even a brand-new website for it.

What Is NDA 2 Exam?
It’s called the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Exam NDA II 2025. If you want to join the Army, Navy or Air Force after 12th, this exam is for you.
How Many Seats Are There? (Vacancy Details)
Here are the total number of seats and how many are for girls:

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

- Go to UPSC’s website.
- First, do a One Time Registration on the new portal.
- Then, log in and fill the NDA 2 form.
- Carefully enter your details, upload documents, and pay the fee.
- Finally, submit the form and take a printout for your records.
How Will You Be Selected?
There are three stages:
- Written Exam (Objective-type questions)
- SSB Interview (Personality and intelligence test)
- Medical Test (To check your fitness)
What’s in the Exam? (Exam Pattern)
You’ll have two papers:

Note: There will be negative marking. So, answer carefully.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)
- Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
- Marital Status: Only unmarried boys and girls can apply.
- Age Limit: You must be born between 1 Jan 2007 to 1 Jan 2010 (both days included).

Note: If you’re in 11th now (just passed 10th), you can’t apply this year.
