Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)
Education
You must have a graduation degree from a recognized university. If you have an equivalent degree, that also works.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Some people get extra age relaxation:
- OBC: +2 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- Women (any category): +3 years
You can get reservation benefits only if you’re from Jharkhand.
Application Fee
Here’s how much you’ll have to pay to apply:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- SC/ST/Female: ₹50
How Will You Be Selected?
There are 4 steps in the selection process:
1. Written Exam
This test has 3 papers:
- Paper 1: Hindi and English
- Paper 2: General Knowledge, Math, and Reasoning
- Paper 3: Questions about Jharkhand
Each paper will have multiple choice questions. Be careful — there is negative marking for wrong answers.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
You must complete a running test.
- Men: Run 10 km in 60 minutes
- Women: Run 5 km in 40 minutes
Other physical standards:
- Height:
- Men: 160 cm
- Women: 155 cm
- Chest (for men): Minimum 81 cm
- No chest measurement needed for women.
3. Medical Test
If you pass the running test, doctors will check if you’re healthy and fit for the job.
4. Document Check
If you clear all the tests, your documents will be checked in the final round.
