Hey there! If you’re dreaming of working as a scientist with DRDO, this is your chance. The Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) of DRDO has shared a new job notice. They are hiring for the Scientist B post.
If you’re interested and meet all the rules, you can apply online.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply if you have one of these degrees:
- B.Tech or B.E
- M.A or M.Sc in the right subject areas
Application Fee
Here’s how much you have to pay to apply:
- General, OBC, and EWS (Male): Rs. 100
- SC, ST, Divyangjan, and all Women candidates: No fee at all
You can pay online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Important Dates
- Start date to apply online: 20 May 2025
- Last date to apply: 21 days from when it is published in the Employment News
So make sure you don’t miss the deadline!
Age Limit
You must be under a certain age, depending on your category:
- General and EWS: Not older than 35 years
- OBC (Non-creamy layer): Not older than 38 years
- SC/ST: Not older than 40 years
How Much Will You Be Paid?
- You’ll get a basic pay of Rs. 56,100 per month (as per Level-10 of the 7th Pay Commission).
- With house rent and other benefits, the total monthly salary will be around Rs. 1,00,000 in cities.

Here’s how many spots are available:
- Scientist B in DRDO: 127 posts
- Scientist/Engineer B in ADA: 9 posts
- Other Scientist B posts: 12 posts

- Sign up by filling in your basic info and make a login ID and password
- Fill the form with your personal, education, and GATE details
- Upload the needed documents like your photo, signature, and GATE scorecard
- Pay the application fee online (if needed)
- Submit your form and download the confirmation page to keep it safe for later
