Salary
The pay is ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month under Level-7.
Selection Process
You’ll have to go through two exams:
- Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
- Main Exam (Mains)
If you pass the Prelims, you’ll apply again for the Mains. Make sure all your details match in both forms. If they don’t, you won’t be allowed to take the Mains exam.

Prelims Syllabus (Main Topics)
- General Studies: Current news, Indian history, freedom struggle, politics, geography, etc.
- General Science & Math: Basic science and arithmetic questions.
- Mental Ability Test: Logical thinking, reasoning, and puzzles.
